Emotional moment: Thanh Nha on the summit of Everest mount

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Nha (Céline Nha Nguyen), director of business and legal affairs of a subsidiary of Openasia Group, currently lives and works in Ho Chi Minh City. Born in the late 80s, she is a passionate mountaineer and a member of Seven Summit Treks, a company specializing in trekking organization in Kathmandu, Nepal. Thanh Nha successfully climbed the two highest summits in Europe and Oceania. Earlier this year, on January 3, she also overcame the challenge of conquering the sixth highest mountain, Vinson Massif, which is considered the highest summit of the white continent of Antarctica, where the weather conditions are extremely harsh. With the completion of the journey to the “roof of the world” at 8,849 meters high, located between the border of Nepal and Tibet (China), Thanh Nha has realized the big dream of her life – setting foot to the seven summits spreading across different continents of the world.

Not only nurturing her own passion for conquering heights, Thanh Nha has also spread an active and positive lifestyle to her colleagues at Openasia Group. It was Thanh Nha’s desire to discover her own strength and surpass herself that motivated them to join her in a part of this Everest climbing trip – from the foot of the mountain to the base camp at an altitude of 5,364m. On April 17, 2022, Thanh Nha and the 11-member amateur climbing team of Openasia Group started this challenging journey to conquer Everest. Regardless of the seemingly insurmountable difficulties, many emotional stories were captured by the amateur climbers on the way to the base camp. In the end, with resilience and perseverance, the whole team reached a height of 5,545m on April 24, 2022. From here, Thanh Nha bid farewell to her colleagues to continue climbing through 4 other stations before reaching the summit on May 16, 2022.

Throughout over 25 years of establishment and development, Openasia Group has always taken the human factor as the root in building corporate culture. With its core values revolving around stimulating passion, creativity, positive thinking toward attaining the excellence and sustainability individually and collectively, Openasia Group always encourages each member to live to the fullest with passion, utilizing their own internal power and collective strength to achieve miracles in work and life. Therefore, Openasia Group is extremely proud to have Thanh Nha as a member of the team.

Thanh Nha has finished climbing down from the summit and is now at the base camp. We await her return with precious stories about this challenging journey.
