Hermès always knows how to captivate the hearts of its brand enthusiasts through cleverly orchestrated events that integrate elements of heritage and craftsmanship in the midst of a busy and hurried digital era. On October 26th, an exciting event called “Hermès Kiosk” will be organized in Hanoi, Vietnam, with the theme “Read newspaper, drink coffee” – seemingly everyday but extremely interesting.
From October 26th to 29th, the Hermès Kiosk event, organized by the renowned French craftmanship brand, will take place in Hanoi. According to the brand, this is an opportunity for Hermès to invite the public to explore the brand’s spirit of innovation and imagination through Le Monde d’Hermès magazine (The World of Hermès) – the magazine edition published twice a year in 10 languages, has been maintained by the brand since 1973.
After 50 years of operation, Le Monde d’Hermès magazine will meet “readers” in Hanoi from October 26 to 29, 2023. The event is organized in the form of kiosks of the same name that are open to the public at Dien Hong Flower Garden (or Toad Flower Garden), Ngo Quyen ward, Trang Tien, Hanoi.
During this stop in Hanoi, Hermès invites guests to immerse themselves in Le Monde d’Hermès – poetically blended with the annual theme “Astonishing” – a phrase that will guide brand throughout the year. Le Monde d’Hermès will also give readers the opportunity to joyfully explore life, through words and images, adventures, collections and conversations that illustrate creativity, curiosity and diversity in the world of Hermès.
Visitors can scan the QR code on the back of each Le Monde d’Hermès magazine to download attractive AR software to interact in virtual reality in Vietnamese with some of the images and stories published in the magazine. This is a special favor that the brand wants to give to guests in Vietnam.
Many diverse activities aimed at the spirit of joy in life take place throughout the day to attract the attention of visitors. You will receive a unique portrait drawn by a local artist, and bring home spontaneous poems based on your personal feelings about the theme “Astonishing” adapted by poet Hien Trang, as well as enjoy the Pony Dance performance and music from Limebox – a band combining zither and Beatbox by two artists Trang Chuoi and TuanSS; Singer Kien Trinh, band Minh Toc&Lam.
Visitors can also stop and relax with a glass of fruit juice and snacks while reading newspapers and playing chess. And before leaving with a relieved and happy mood, each guest will be given the latest issue of Hermès magazine along with a bouquet or a lovely pot of fresh flowers.
The first Le Monde d’Hermès Kiosk event – inspired by Paris’s iconic newsagents – launched in Prague in autumn 2021. This event marks the start of a series of captivating programs. Following Prague, Kiosk made stops in Barcelona in April of this year, followed by Kuwait, Austin, and Haikou in May, and Jakarta in June. The Kiosk also made a stop in Lisbon before arriving in Hanoi.
Kiosk Le Monde d’Hermès is open to visitors from October 26th to 29th, 2023, from 9am to 9pm at Dien Hong Flower Garden (Toad Flower Garden), Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi.
